Home Sweet Home
Trainee Sponsorship Program

Our Program: Home Sweet Home’s focus is on rehabilitating the homeless person, many of whom are handicapped. They are given a home to live in and are taught life skills to be able to be a productive person in society. To accomplish this goal HSH has developed a unique two-year training program that not only teaches them life skills but also gives them full employment. Through this they receive job skill training too.

How It Works: Each trainee is hired into the Home Sweet Homes factory and paid a salary throughout the time they are in the program. HSH two- year training program has already successfully assisted many homeless people to gain these valuable skills and find full time employment upon leaving.
How You Can Be Involved:
Such a training program requires a great amount of resources to accomplish. Housing for the trainees, factory rent, trainee salaries, counselors, trainers, managers, meals and many other cost are all associated with running this program.

To fund this program Home Sweet Home has developed a trainee sponsorship program that gives you the opportunity to sponsor a trainee. The cost for each trainee is 1,500 per month or 18,000 per year. You can choose to sponsor a trainee for several months, for a full year, or for the entire two year program. Would you consider helping a homeless person find new meaning in life?
